The focus of the park is 3,400-acre Eleven Mile Reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in Colorado. The nearby Front Range and interesting rock formations provide spectacular scenery for individuals enjoying the reservoir. Eleven Mile State Park is open year-round with 350 campsites for overnight accommodations.

Eleven Mile Reservoir is known for its excellent fishing. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike and carp are all found within the waters of Eleven Mile. Power boating, sailboating, and windsurfing are also very popular during the summer and fall months. Two boat ramps are available on the shores of the reservoir. A multitude of camping and picnicking sites are available around the lake.

Please note that passes purchased at the U.S. Forest Service Eleven Mile Canyon are NOT valid at Eleven Mile State Park.

To get there travel 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on U.S. 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for five miles to the park.
