Outstanding scenery, ultra-modern facilities, a full-service marina and magnificent campgrounds beckon visitors to Ridgway!

1,000 acre Ridgway lake is the focal point of this park. The waters are are stocked with rainbow and brown trout. There are over 2,000 acres of land within the park boundaries.

Three recreation sites exist around the lake with a variety of facilities.

Most activities are center around the Ridgway Reservoir. Boating, fishing, swimming, camping, picnicking, jet skiing, water skiing, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, ice fishing and interpretive programs can be enjoyed in Ridgway State Park. In addition, Ridgway is known as one of the nation's most accessible recreation areas for people with disabilities.

To get there take U.S. 550 south of Montrose for 22 miles to the park entrance.
